東 玄太 | 写真家
1988年 奄美大島生まれ、横浜を拠点に活動。

光や質感、被写体の造形と佇まいに惹かれ、風景、人物、静物を撮影する。
自然や一過性の現象を起点に、抽象的で絵画的な写真作品を制作している。
また、広告、ポートレート、エディトリアルなどの撮影も手がける。

2018年より作品を発表。
2025年、横浜・反町に撮影スタジオ VOID を設立。

Born in 1988 on Amami Ōshima, Japan. Based in Yokohama.

Drawn to light, texture, and the form and presence of his subjects, he photographs landscapes, people, and still life.
Taking nature and fleeting phenomena as a point of departure, he creates abstract, painterly photographic works.
He also works on advertising, portrait, and editorial commissions.

He has been exhibiting his work since 2018.
In 2025, he founded VOID, a photography studio in Yokohama.
